Standard Issue began in 1981. it was founded on a desire to create timeless knitwear that is defined by nature and cherished for a lifetime. that same passion endures today.

we are proud to have two beautiful retail stores - our Flagship Store in Newmarket, and our newest home in Wellington's iconic Old Bank Arcade.

our collections are crafted entirely in-house at our Tāmaki Makaurau-based workroom using 100% renewable or recyclable fibers with a zero-waste output.

we care deeply about what we make and how we make it, and are a close team bound by a commitment to regenerate, always working in balance with nature and taking an inquisitive approach to finding new ways to restore the earth.
